The 8th China Dendro Conference will take place at the Xi’an JiaoTong University of Xi’an, China, from the 9th to the 14th of October 2023. The Pre-conference workshops will be on the 9th (Monday) and 10th (Tuesday) of October and will be held in the Taibai Forest Protected Area of Qinling Mountains (with limited to 35 participants). The conference will be from the 11th to the 13th of October (Wednesday to Friday) and will be held in the auditorium of the Xi’an JiaoTong University.
The conference dinner will be on the 11th of October.
The post-conference field excursion will be a to Mt. Huashan National Park on the 14th of October (Saturday).
Theme：The theme of the Conference is "Tree Rings - Insight the Past and Perceive the Future". The purpose of the conference is to display and exchange new progress and achievements in China tree ring research in all relevant fields, to discuss major scientific issues in the tree-ring field.
Topics：Preliminary, there are 9 topics have been proposed for the Conference, and participants are welcome to voluntarily set up new topics as conveners. The new topics must have more than 5 reports as academic support (less than this number of new topics will be merged with other topics), and the final sessions and the conveners shall be subject to the second round of notice.
